Abdie Mohamed is a GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) engineer, community builder, and speaker dedicated to transforming how organizations approach governance in the cloud. With more than six years of experience in technology, Abdie has helped enterprises design governance programs that reduce waste, strengthen compliance, and empower engineers to build securely and efficiently.

As a GRC engineering practitioner, he bridges the gap between compliance and technical execution by combining automation, policy, and cloud strategy to help teams operate responsibly at scale. His work reflects a balance of technical depth in AWS and automation with a strong understanding of security frameworks and business alignment.

Beyond engineering, Abdie is committed to expanding access to technology and leadership opportunities. He serves as a board member at The Hidden Genius Project, an organization dedicated to training and mentoring young Black men in technology and entrepreneurship. Through his talks at universities, conferences, and community events, Abdie continues to inspire the next generation of builders to pursue impact-driven careers in tech.
